Now, I really like </i><i>Burt's Bees products in general ( Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream and Lip Shimmer in Watermelon are among my all-time favorites ) but the r</i><i>eason why I love this line is because it's made with natural ingredients, which is really important to me for </i><i>I believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it! Additionally, as I have previously mentioned I am not too keen on wearing foundation, so making sure that my skin looks even is really important. Normally, I start by dotting the cream on the center of my nose, chin, forehead and about an inch under the eye area. I repeat the same steps morning and night and the entire process takes me about 3-4 minutes. </i><i>I started noticing a difference after using these products for about a week, the dark spots on my nose and cheeks started to get lighter and I think by week 2 they were barely noticeable. Aside from that, since I have an oily t-zone, what I really like about them is that they do not clog pores, don't feel heavy on and don't make my face feel or look oily or shiny. </i><br /><i><br /></i><i>P.S. CAT EYES DAY TO NIGHT WITH BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL PUSH-UP LINER

That is of course with one major exception, i.e. my can't-live-without cat-eye liner look! In fact, I am so addicted to it, I don't think I have ever left the house without it within the past few years. Seriously, even when I am sporting a pair of sunnies, it is always there with me:) Perhaps because I wear it so often, I get a lot of questions about the techniques I use to apply my eye liner. </i><br /><a name="more"></a><br /><i>Though, applying an eye liner may seem like an intimidating task at first, it is actually very easy to do. The first and most important thing is the product you use, because naturally, not all eye liners are created equal. Since, I've been using eye liner pretty much every day for the past few years, I got to try quite a few different ones. Few of them I liked, others I just couldn't deal with, but I certainly didn't find my favorite until I got the opportunity to test <b><a href="http://bit.ly/RHBxPu" target="_blank">Benefit Cosmetics they're real push-up liner</a></b>. </i><br /><i><br /></i><i>Day vs Night:</i><br /><i><br /></i><i>Though some people recommend applying eye liner by drawing a series of dots and then connecting them, I prefer to draw an even line across the lash line and once I reach the outer corner, angle the tip and draw another line towards the brow, creating a winged out look. Next, depending on the intensity I am looking for, I fill in and thicken the liner a bit. For day, I usually go for a more natural look, so I tend to apply the liner closer to the lash line and extend the corners very slightly for just a hint of the cat eye look. But for night, I definitely favor the more dramatic look, so I thicken the line above the lashes and extend the line way beyond the natural outer corner. </i><br /><i><br /></i><i>What I like about Benefit they're real push-up liner:</i><br /><i><br /></i><i>Normally, it takes a few coats to achieve the intense black I am looking for, but with Benefit, I was able to achieve the desired color with just one coat. Another pet peeve of mine, is trying to get the liner as close to the lash line as possible. Usually, I have to go back a few times to fill out the little gaps, but I did not experience this problem with Benefit. The liner glided perfectly right over the base of my lashes leaving no visible gaps. Finally, when it comes to eye liner, longevity is important to me. I absolutely hate having to worry about smudges or fading color. Once again, Benefit liner lasted all day and the color looked just as intense as it did in the morning. How is your week going so far? </i><i>Since I've gotten quite a few emails asking what type of skin care products I normally use, I wanted to take this opportunity to talk a bit about 2 of my current favorites. </i><i>I am sure I've mentioned before that I don't like wearing foundation and since I am pretty much walking bare face most of the time, great skin care products are simply a must! For the most part I have normal skin, with the exception of my t-zone, which tends to get a bit oily. Thought a little oil on our face is actually a good thing, I have to take really good care of my t-zone so that I don't get clogged pores. Of course my problem as of lately is that with my schedule being completely nuts, I haven't really had the time to just unwind and do something nice for my skin:) </i><br /><a name="more"></a><i>So, when Bioré reached out and suggested I take a moment to #BlackOutWithBiore, I though this was the perfect opportunity to take a break from social media, kick back, indulge in a little pampering and take a day all to myself:) During my black out, I got a chance to try the Bioré </i><i style="text-align: center;">Self Heating One Minute <b><a href="http://bit.ly/1puLLgy" target="_blank">mask</a></b> & Deep Pore Charcoal <b><a href="http://bit.ly/1oY8EKN" target="_blank">cleanser</a></b>. I started by washing my face with the cleanser, which left my skin feeling clean but not at all dry, like a few other deep cleansers I've tried. Next, while my face was still wet I applied the heating mask, wetting my fingers a bit to help activate the warming action even further. After about a minute, I washed the mask off with warm water. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! </i><i>Since so many of you asked me about my beauty routine, I wanted to take this opportunity to talk to you about a few tricks and techniques I use when applying eye make up. </i><i>Before we get into eye make up application specifics, the first thing we should consider is the shape of the eye. Our eye shapes are unique, applying eye make up based on our eye shapes helps to enhance the natural beauty of our particular eye shape and of course ensure the best results! If you are not sure what your eye shape is, Smashbox created a wonderful <b><a href="http://www.smashboxfullexposure.com/quizzes/1" target="_blank">video</a></b> to help you figure it out. </i></div><div><br /><a name="more"></a></div><div><i>To achieve today's look, I used Smashbox Full Exposure palette. What I like about this particular product, is the fact that it contains 14 universally flattering shades, perfect for creating anything from a simple daytime to dramatic nighttime looks. I found that the colors are highly pigmented, long-wearing, easily blendable and feel great on. The double-ended brush included with the palette, is my other personal favorite! The fluffy side is absolutely perfect for blending matte shades, and the flat side is great for laying down shimmer shades. Finally, the palette comes with an eye shape get-the-look insert, which not only helps to identify your eye shape but also gives detailed instructions, tips and tricks how to enhance the particular shape of your eyes. The palette includes 3 different looks (day, night and defined) for each of the main 6 eye shapes. For today's post I chose to create a night look, designed to elongate and maximize the shape of the round eyes. </i><br /><br /><i>To create today's look, I started by applying a midtone slate with silver pearl all over the eye lid, using the flat side of the double-ended brush, designed specifically for application of the shimmer shades</i><i>. </i><i>The best way to apply shimmer shades, is to press down rather than sweep the shades across the lid. </i><br /><div style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light'; font-size: 12px;"><br /></div></div><div><i>Next, I applied ashy dark brown along the eye crease using the fluffy side of the double-ended brush. I find that defining the crease adds depth to the overall look and also helps to emphasize the shape of the eye. Unlike shimmer shades, the best way to apply a matte shade is to sweep the color using a back and forth motion, almost like a windshield wiper:) </i><br /><br /><i>Next, I applied suede black along the top of the lash line as an eye liner, extending beyond the natural outer corner to elongate the eye and to create my beloved cat-eye look. </i><br /><i><br /></i><i>Finally, I dabbed a little bit of soft gold with gold and silver pearl into the inner corner of my eyes. This trick helps to brighten the face in general and to widen the eyes. Next, I applied the same shade right on top of the cheekbones to illuminate the face and give more definition to the cheeks.  I completed this look with t</i><i>wo coats of Full Exposure Mascara and voila! Since, tonight's dinner is going to be a fairly formal event, I opted to wear a beautiful purple cocktail dress, accessorized with crystal & pearl jewelry and a sparkly clutch. Today was also the perfect occasion to wear my new </span><b><a href="http://bit.ly/1ck4V5M" target="_blank">Guess Girl Belle</a></b><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Segoe UI, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;"> fragrance, which I am completely in love with! </span></i><br /><a name="more"></a><i style="background-color: white; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, 'Lucida Grande', sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Segoe UI, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;">The fact that it matches my dress perfectly, is just a happy coincidence:) Aside from my weakness for pretty perfume bottles and the color purple, I think what I love most about this particular fragrance is the fun, adventurous and flirtatious scent! What can I say, pink champagne, golden delicious apples, mixed berries, pink peonies, jasmine and violet, combined together, create absolute Magic! Perfect for day or night, it's definitely my favorite at the moment, so check it out when you have the chance. I completed this look with a fairly simple make up, adding just a bit of highlighting powder to my cheekbones and brow bones and a shimmery eye shadow. I also went for a super simple, fuss-free hairstyle, by creating very loose waves with a large-barrel curling iron! And voila!
